You won’t believe it.
I bought 4-5 years ago a computer (when it was a new computer) and few months later I had a very weird problem with the computer… the computer just freezed after several hours with no reasonable explanation. I sent the computer to several labs (hardware is not my strongest side…) and every time it looks like they solved the problem. But nothing solved it! I did everything I could to solve the problem (installing the system again, checking hardware problems…) but nada!
So I continued to work with this computer for years… and something like every 12 hours it needed a restart…
Well, in the last year I bought a new computer and I am working with him right now. But I am not a quitter and I was curios what the hell is the problem.
And something like a month I heard about a temperature problem that can be caused by a heavy layer of dust. So I went and cleaned my computer from dust… and The computer is now working for like 2 weeks in a row without a single freeze! Amazing!
Why do I tell you that? So you could learn from my stupidity =) check your computer’s temperature and if it’s too high, look for the reason.
I hope this post will be helpful for someone ;-)
