Linux and VMware ????
 

Я новичок в линукс и у меня наверное самая распространённая проблема которая возникает у начинающих.
Вобщем кому не лень помогите разобратса с устоновкой VMware-workstation-5.0.0-12544.i386.rpm .
А конкретней я не могу понять что делать с vmware-config.pl (на который меня отослала система) после вопроса

Вроде спрашивается: где у тебя лежат сурсы ядра.
типа нужно указать path_to_kern_src/include

Вроде так.

дира с хедерами или сырцами ядра.

надо их установить.

Думаю укажу весь диалог с vmware-config.pl

Я понимаю что nerezus c Linux не на Вы и думаю он сможет поподробней расказать что нужно установить,а точнее где его взять.

где мои include??????

The directory of kernel headers (version 2.4.27-0.pre2.1mdk) does not match your

Тебе сказали, что ядро под каким ты работаешь и какое лежит в /usr/src/linux не совпадают..
Так что надо либо загрузиться под 2.4.27-0.pre2.1mdk, либо установить сырцы для version 2.6.8.1-12mdk
