только скорость, чувствительность приемника тут не причем.

не хватает знаний по двум примерам :

Первый вариант :Происходит соединение с сетью через ключ WEP, конектится, все ОК, выдает IP и т.п. Сканирую сетку, показывает, что в сети 5 АР и ни одного клиента. Сетка частная. Все АР пингуются, но вот почему то интернет не работает.

Второй вариант. Незащищенная сеть, 1 АР, подключает, выдает IP, причем в этой сетке даже АР дефолтовый пароль, можно влезть в настройки. Но интернет не работает. Есть подозрения, что сигнал слабоват - по показанию airodump PWR 20-22

Ты уверен, что в этих сетях есть выход в интернет, если есть то постоянный ли? И если уверен, что есть, то ищи шлюз. По второму вопросу, если ты видишь компы в сети, то сигнал достаточно высок.

стоит понаблюдать некоторое время за сетью, поснифать траф и просмотреть его внимательно - тогда, может, и найдешь что-нить интересное для себя.. возможно, и нету там инета..

При конфигурировании установки Кисмета в логе выдаёт что не может найти libpcap хотя она у мня установлена. Наодном из форумов был совет проделать данное: Downloaded the latest stable source,
Removed libpcap0, libpcap0-devel, kismet,
Installed byacc (byacc-1.9-20mdk) & flex (flex-2.5.4a-25mdv2007.0) to satisfy libpcap's dependencies,
Compiled libpcap, and
Compiled kismet, непомогло. Кстати после удаления библиотеки и установки её из архива пишет что библиотека в системе есть. Как решается эта трабла?

Уверенности нет, есть только предположение. Это частная сеть "какого то нового русского". Ланспекотром отсканил сеть, там все Д-линк АР. Возможно там сделали просто сетку только для видеонаблюдения на WiFi, но тогда должен быть хотя бы один сервер-компьтер для обработки поступающей видеоинформации. К слову сказать, поделитесь опытом, кто чем сканит сетку, войдя в нее, что бы понять ее конфигурацию - шлюзы и т.п.
Я пользую lanSpector, но описания на него не нашел, вот и мучаюсь "методом тыка"...

neko, какая у тебя система? Насколько я понял из названия пакетов - Mandriva, верно? Каким образом устанавливаешь Kismet - из пакета или из исходников? Выложи сюда весь свой лог(про CODE-теги не забывай )
Это ты где посмотрел? Команду покажи.. И скажи путь, куда устанавливал libpcap.
